Acceptable Fruits
Try these desserts!
Use the Microwave, or the oven. Core the apple, put a dollup of butter in
the hole, add a sprinkle of cinnamon, cover with foil for Oven or plastic
wrap for Microwave. Microwave on high or bake on $375. I'm sorry I
cannot remember the time, it is in my microwave cookbook. Can do in
individual pyrex dishes for one at a time, or do several, they reheat
beautifully and taste good cold.. The apples are sweet enough in
themselves to not need sugar. Makes a wonderful breakfast, good soul food!

Broiled Apple Rings from Sugarfree New Orleans: A Cookbook based on the
Glycemic Index:
4 small apples
1 packet sugar substitute
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamone
Wash apples and slice into 1/2 inch rounds. Using a cookie cutter or sharp
knife, core each slice. In a cup, combine the sugar substitute and
cinnamon.
Place rings on a greased cookie sheet and broil for 8 minutes or until
light
brown. With a spatula, gently turn each ring. Sprinkle the rings with the
cinnamon mixture and broil for one more minute. Good hot or cold.
