Most of what we SB'ers look for can be found at a Health Food type Store. But with a little label reading, we can even eat out of Wal-Mart if we want!

I did find a recipe and detailed instructions for those of us who have never made bread by hand before. The page is at Bread Making for beginners

Bagels:: French Meadow Bakery, Ezekial bagels or Sprouted Wheatberry.

Breads: La Louisianne Bakery, (Boule) Harahan, La.

Boxed mix for bread machine:

Arrowhead Mills Whole Wheat, use brown rice syrup instead of the indicated honey in the directions.

Pepperidge Farm Jewish

rye: See FLOURS.

Flours:
Arrowhead Mills, Rye Flour is good for frying or making a roux.
You can buy Rye flour at Winn Dixie, and Langensteins, both in Metairie, LA.
Waterchestnut flour, available at Oriental markets.

But for you "Do it yourselfers" here is a link for the ultimate bread making sites including a page with photos!
